iirc they’re violent assholes. they can’t really coexist with humans, for obvious reasons. so the ones that move to ankh-morpork are the black ribboners, like mal. they channel the obsession with blood into something else- coffee for mal, photography for another one….I forget what else.

I liked the first season because it reminded me of Scrubs. A comedy that is actually really sad with thought provoking themes.
